
Delta Air Lines is discontinuing its nonstop flight route from Atlanta to St. Vincent and the Grenadines after just 37 weeks, despite the destination experiencing a significant increase in tourism. The decision has sparked a reaction among travelers, who now must use other airlines like American Airlines and JetBlue to reach the Caribbean island. Delta stated the cancellation is part of its "ongoing network planning process," and affected passengers will be offered alternatives.
A Florida-bound Delta flight from Atlanta was evacuated via slides on the taxiway after reports of smoke and fumes in the cockpit and cabin. The flight, carrying 199 passengers and six crew members, returned to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport shortly after takeoff. Delta stated that the crew followed procedures, prioritizing safety, and apologized to customers for the experience.

Toyota Motor Corporation has signed a binding agreement to become an equal shareholder in cellcentric, joining Volvo Group and Daimler Truck AG. This agreement gives each of the three companies a one-third stake in the fuel cell developer. The partnership aims to strengthen cellcentric's technological leadership and competitiveness in heavy-duty fuel cell technology, while supporting the development of the hydrogen ecosystem.
