Rollins cut to neutral at Piper on impact from agentic AI
Piper Sandler has downgraded Rollins Inc. (ROL) to neutral from overweight, citing concerns about agentic AI and increased private equity investment in the pest control sector. Analyst Peter Keith noted that agentic AI search results tend to favor smaller, local pest control providers over national companies, and heightened competition from private equity is making it difficult for Rollins to meet its targeted organic growth rate. As a result, Keith reduced the price target for ROL shares to $33 from $46, expecting the stock price and valuation to remain range-bound.
